The cerv.id Classic
A month-long map jam for mappers of all skill levels!
This Month's Theme: all-in-one
What is This?
#The cerv.id Classic is a map jam for Dr. Robotnik's Ring Racers, a technical kart-racer based on SRB2
Inspired by Simpleflips' Romhacking Competitions, participants have 1 month (Jan 1 — Jan 31) to create a map using High Voltage Ring based on the given theme.
Once the jam is over, your submissions will be broadcasted live on YouTube in a wrap-up event where judges will give constructive feedback and submissions will be subjected to some friendly competition.
Rules
#Your submission must be both a functional Race and Battle map!
Your submission must be a single map started after the competition begins and be an original work
Your submission must follow the Submission Guidelines
- 16 Player Starts (for Race), 16 Match Starts (for Battle)
- Must include a minimap and thumbnail
- Bots should be able to complete your map in Race
- Must include an Overtime Kiosk, at least 1 Prison Egg, and at least 1 Combat UFO for Battle
While not a hard rule, it can be fun to keep your submission secret until the stream! To up the hype and wow the judges...!
Example-Map.wad
An example map has been included to provide some insight on how to mesh Race and Battle elements together.
Use it as a starting point, inspiration, or ignore it!

When submitting, you may exclude your map from the map pack or release it both in the pack and separately. All submissions will be included in the wrap-up stream.
